Research in advance, concept and development of the product have been completed, now we are reaching the so-called Post-development phase within the product lifecycle. Also in the Post-development phase, cybersecurity measures need to be applied correctly, as required by ISO/SAE 21434 and UN Regulation No. 155.

You will get a first overview about this with this video course "Cybersecurity requirements for Post-development (G10_5)" in order to have an initial understanding about the importance of cybersecurity requirements in post-development.

First, we'll briefly show you how cybersecurity requirements for post-development are defined in ISO/SAE 21434 and UN R155, before we get started with a brief introduction to the general product lifecycle of the vehicle industry, focusing on the definition of the post-development phase.

Next, you will get an explanation of technical cybersecurity requirements, with a view to the lifecycle, and then move on to process cybersecurity requirements and how they should be intertwined with the post-development phase. Beyond that, we go over the transition from development to production.

Last but not least, we put together a brief guide on what it takes to handle cybersecurity requirements in post-development.

The video course has a total length of approx. 10 minutes.
