Preparing and planning ahead is always a good idea, but when it comes to cybersecurity it is not just a nice to have, it is crucial for achieving cybersecurity resilience. In this video course “Cybersecurity Plan” we will explain what a cybersecurity plan exactly is and how to correctly create and develop a coherent cybersecurity plan.

First, we will clarify the planning process on deciding whether items and components are included or excluded from a cybersecurity plan. Additionally, we will take a closer look at the characteristics and requirements of the cybersecurity plan according to ISO/SAE 21434.

In the second part of the video, we will explain step by step how to develop a dependable cybersecurity plan during the concept and development phases, and for a reference we will then give an example of what a cybersecurity plan looks like and how it can be structured based on best practices and the state of the art. Finally, we will give you an idea of what could happen and the consequences of neglecting the cybersecurity plan.
